I am a 18 year old student from Linz, Austria. I am studying Business Informatics at the local university. Already shortly after the announcement of the LibreOffice project I got involved and found my field of interest in the Quality Assurance team.
At first I got in touch with OpenOffice.org in 2009, still in my school years. Believe me or not, but at this time I didn't use the computer for a lot of things expect of gaming. Still I got excited by the idea that people in their free time achieved this. A little bit later than a year I heard from the LibreOffice community. For me itseemed to have the right goals so I tried to help out where I could. After a while it got clear to me, that Quality Assurance is for me the most interesting part. In the meantimeI finished school and right after the conference I am going to start studying business informatics at a local university. I have to admit, that I am a happy Windows 7 user and really love the possibilities of Visual Studio. Recently I also started to use Linuxon a more regular basis. At this conference I want to introduce everyone to my biggest achievement in my open-source-life, which in the same way is my first real program: Server Install GUI – Parallel installations with ease
